Choosing the right spells in Wizard West can make a huge difference in both player-vs-player (PvP) and player-vs-environment (PvE) battles. Below you’ll find two separate tier lists—one for PvP and one for PvE along with explanations of why certain spells shine (or fail) in each mode.
Wizard West Spells PvP Tier List
Lasso Tier (Above S)
- Lasso
- Why It’s Here: Lasso is widely considered “broken.” It locks targets in place, making them easy to finish off. Expect other players to call you a “lasso user” because of how strong it is.
S Tier
- Tempesta Incarnata
- Deals massive area lightning damage. Great for controlling crowds and pressuring opponents.
- Imperium
- Lets you control an enemy, effectively turning them against their own team.
- Morsmorent
- Summons shadow minions to fight on your behalf.
- Abra Kedabra
- Instantly takes out a single target—amazing in high-stakes duels.
- Apparix
- Offers strong teleport or movement advantages, letting you ambush or escape.
- Protego
- A powerful defensive shield to block incoming spells.
- Vocare Tauma
- Summons a special entity or weapon (depends on the version), delivering extra damage in fights.
A Tier
- Vocare Machum
- Rapid-fire spell with strong DPS if you have good aim.
- Vocare Enarma
- Summons a melee weapon or “fist” for up-close combat—can catch foes off-guard.
- Stupendo
- A decent stun or knockback effect, good for creating openings.
- Aquaral
- Water-based spell that traps or slows enemies, making them easier to target.
- Electrufus
- Fast lightning strike with decent damage and quick travel time.
- Haste
- Speeds you up for a short duration—perfect for repositioning in PvP.
B Tier
- Defindo
- A slicing projectile that can hit multiple targets in a line if aimed well.
- Bombarda
- Explosive area damage, strong but can be slow to set up.
- Ignes
- Fireball-like spell that deals ongoing burn damage.
- Bolt
- Basic projectile with moderate damage and speed.
C Tier (and Below)
- Oceanu, Vorticus, Rigidus, Inlias, Vocare Halberda, Glacius, Episkio, Expulso, and others
- Generally weaker or more situational. Some are decent in group fights or have niche uses, but they lack the raw power or versatility to stand out in PvP.
Wizard West Spells PvE Tier List
S Tier
- Tempesta Incarnata
- Massive lightning storm that quickly clears out groups of enemies.
- Imperium
- Turn tough enemies into allies—extremely useful for big PvE encounters.
- Morsmorent
- Summons shadow minions to handle mobs for you.
- Apparix
- Teleportation or quick movement helps you escape danger or position yourself advantageously.
A Tier
- Abra Kedabra
- Instantly eliminates a single foe. Great for boss-like enemies, but has a longer cooldown.
B Tier
- Vocare Machum, Vocare Enarma
- Summoned weapons can deal steady damage over time, helpful in extended fights.
- Bombarda
- Strong area explosion for clearing groups of weaker mobs.
- Oceanu, Vorticus, Rigidus
- Each provides some crowd control or area damage, though they’re less reliable than S-tier spells.
C Tier
- Defindo, Ignes, Vocare Halberda, Glacius
- These can still be helpful but often lack the big impact needed to clear mobs quickly or handle strong bosses efficiently.
D Tier (and Below)
- Episkio, Expulso, Lasso, Haste (in pure PvE)
- More niche or less effective in PvE. Some are great in PvP (like Lasso), but they don’t shine as much against AI enemies.
Choosing the Right Spells
- PvP Focus
- If you’re all about duels, pick top-tier spells like Lasso, Tempesta Incarnata, or Imperium. These give you crowd control, huge damage, or a quick way to end fights.
- PvE Focus
- For clearing enemy camps and boss-like foes, Tempesta Incarnata or Morsmorent are must-haves. Imperium is also amazing for turning tough enemies into allies.
- All-Rounders
- Tempesta Incarnata stands out for both PvP and PvE. It deals massive damage in an area and is hard to avoid.
- Upgrade Wisely
- High-tier spells often cost more gold or scrolls. Plan which spells you want to unlock first based on your main activity (PvP or PvE).
Both PvP and PvE in Wizard West offer different challenges, so the best spells can vary. If you love dueling other players, Lasso is a brutal choice (though it might spark some rage from opponents). If you prefer fighting AI enemies, large area-of-effect spells like Tempesta Incarnata or turning enemies into friends with Imperium can give you a massive advantage.
